What the technology actually is
A microgrid controller is the supervisory state machine for grid connection, islanding, generation, storage and controllable load. It issues commands, but fast electrical stability may remain inside inverter, generator and protection controls.
Specify grid-connected and island transitions, source dispatch, load tiers, stability limits, protection states, black start, local HMI, cyber controls and test scenarios.
