ERC Resolution No. 11, Series of 2026 builds on the Microgrid Systems Act for unserved and underserved areas; it is not a shortcut for every private off-grid installation.
The Act addresses integrated electricity service in qualified unserved or underserved areas.
Private facility microgrids may follow a different regulatory path.
